This project is a result from admiration to a dead dragonfly lying on the window-sill.

The filigree wings were shimmering and I started to photograph this insect.

I was especially interested in different ways to plot it. So I also sketched it and drew up some graphics to bring out the delicate wing structure. I decided to create a book to show a dragonfly from my perspective and completed my collection with a poem by Jean Ingelow. Then I bind 20 little books with the title ”juwelenäugig” and really enjoyed this handwork.
